A finance employee committed suicide by jumping in front of a train near Odhpura in Kotwali Hathras Gate area. The deceased was separated from his wife. Police sent the body for postmortem. Police has started investigating the cause of death.

Chetan Prakash (35), a resident of Kheda Jat village in Fatehpur Sikri police station area of Agra, worked in a private finance company in Hathras. He lived in a rented room near Odhpura. He had been married for about 15 years. His wife was living in her maternal home.
The brother alleges that Chetan’s wife used to harass him. She used to threaten her husband to divorce him. Due to this, Chetan committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. A crowd gathered at the spot. The police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The deceased has left behind two children crying and wailing.
